Convenio Advisors LLC to Focus on Strategic and Investment Banking Advisory Services

Dave Kalez, a technology focused investment banking professional, has launched Convenio Advisors LLC.  A former Managing Director and Partner at Pacific Crest Securities, and later KBCM Technology Group, Kalez has been providing strategic and M&A advisory services to tech focused companies globally for over 30 years.

Convenio will be applying tech-specialist advisory services to connect smaller emerging companies with larger strategic acquirers and private equity firms to capitalize on meaningful synergies.  Convenio believes there is a large gap in the marketplace for smaller, tech-centric companies who are in need of strategic guidance in anticipation of an eventual liquidity event.

Experience

During his tenure at Pacific Crest and KBCM, Kalez focused on the development and growth of the Energy & Industrial Technologies and Software sectors including business development, mergers & acquisitions, and developing and executing private and public financing strategies.

He regularly advised executives and Boards on optimal capital structures, liquidity options, company positioning and market valuations.  His knowledge is broad and includes a range of digital transformation technologies including SaaS, IoT, AI, ML, autonomous vehicles, advanced manufacturing technologies, robotics, 3D printing/additive manufacturing and cybersecurity.
